Leng Shi Xiang's Studio

Leng has been making kites in his studio in Beijing for over 40 years. He never sells his kites, though some appear in museums around the world. A few of his kites which you see below, have actually never left his studio. He spent 3 years making kites which are no bigger than your thumbnail, but which he has flown.

This year Leng attended the National Kite Competition at Lianyungang, and won first prize with a box kite, that was in the shape of a frog!! (see picture below).

Leng's kites are among the most original kites we have ever seen, and we wish to share pictures of them with you.
